For U.S. built yachts, as well as yachts built in Europe, our expertise is available to clients anywhere in the world. Karen Lynn Interiors offers all phases of design services for totally custom yacht interiors and for semi-production/semi-custom yacht interiors, including CADD services as well as project management.
Karen Lynn Interiors has worked with several shipyards locally in Ft Lauderdale, where she has directed and supervised major refit projects on yachts ranging from 44 to 147 feet in length. These refits have included extensive redesign of whole decks, the redesign of overhead panel and lighting plans, rewiring of all electrical systems throughout the entire vessel, redesign of interior cabinetry and furnishings, motorization of window treatments, redesigns of pilot houses and galleys, design of marble flooring, soft fit redesigns, shower enclosure designs, redesign of exterior spaces and, of course, soft decors.
In addition, Karen has worked with two shipyards in Italy and one in Germany on four new construction yacht projects which were all over 100 ft. in length. In addition, for over five years she has been the representative interior designer for Marine Max Yachts and Brokerage,the exclusive importers of Ferretti Group products for the U.S. market. She has completed over 50 boats ranging from 50 to 88 feet in length for them.
